how to set up an email account with
Outlook Express
You should have been given the following details when the email address was activated: Username, Password, POP details, SMTP details
On the menu click 'Tools', then select 'email accounts'.
Tools > Email accounts...
Tick the 'add a new e-mail account' box
Click on the 'Next' button

Server type
Tick the 'POP3' box
Click on the 'Next' button
> Next
Internet email Settings
Enter your name and email address under 'User Information'
Enter your username and password under 'Logon Information'
Enter your POP3 and SMTP details under Server Information'
Make sure that the SPA box is not ticked
Click the 'More Settings' button
Put a tick in the box marked "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication"
Tick the box marked 'Use same settings as my incoming mail server'
Click on the 'Test settings' button. This will make sure everything is working properly
Note: that depending on your service provider you may have to use other details. You will have to contact your Internet provider or you can search the Internet for those details
